_Hi welcome to Loch Ness day tours
__Hi
welcome to Loch Ness day tours.
After 15 years of Wild in Scotland tours due to changes in the market (largely due to an unsustainable economic boom ending) sadly we have stopped touring. For me there are a lot of amazing memories of friendships made, great learnings and of course the privilege of spending so much time in the amazing Highlands and Islands. Thanks particularly go to Sarah, James, Kath, Ewan for their many years of hard work and passion and to every single guide and all of the 10's of thousands of clients who made the tours special.
In a bid to pay off the overdraft I have created this site to provide friendly and independent advice on how to choose a day tour of Scotland and if you feel so inclined if you click on the Rabbies tour link above so we get commission from the tour. The tour will cost you exactly the same.
Thanks again and a fond farewell to you amazing bunch of folk and please look us up when you are next in bonnie Scotland.

Purpose of this website
To provide FREE and independent advice to help visitors to Scotland find a day tour quickly that meets their needs.
Here is a word of warning. Loch Ness tours are a very full day's travel as it is 4 hours drive there and back. All of these companies offer tours to other beautiful wonderful places that are not as far away so you get more time off the bus. Even better you could choose one of their 2 day Loch Ness tours.

Iglu Gastropub in Edinburgh
I am working in my Gastropub Iglu in Edinburgh where we have great tasty Scottish food, whiskies tastings and live folk music most Wednesdays. We have been awarded the 3 star champion award by the Sustainable Restaurant Association. We came second to River Cottage in the UK food sourcing award. 90% of our fresh farmed ingredients are Scottish and Organic.
Stationmaster's Hostel near Skye
Former Tour Director Kath and tour guide Ewan are running the show at our wonderful hostel near the Isle of Skye in the beautiful fishing village of Stromeferry. There are great double rooms and dorm rooms, mostly en-suite. You will not find a more peaceful and beautiful place in Scotland!
